A Biblical Understanding of Education

At Covenant College, we believe that our understanding of the world informs and impacts every aspect of our teaching. Our courses provide a biblical understanding of education which becomes the foundation of your profession as a teacher.

The Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC), the organization that grants state teaching licenses for individuals who complete a state-approved program like ours, rates Covenant’s teacher education programs with a top ranking of 4, one of only a handful of programs statewide with that highest evaluation.

Our Hybrid Delivery Model

Covenant offers a hybrid delivery model for our MAT program, allowing you more flexibility as you complete your degree. Through the hybrid model, you can earn your degree with a combination of on-campus courses and online classes. Students in the Chattanooga area can attend all of their classes on campus, but the hybrid option allows students with teaching jobs in other locations to enroll, taking their fall and spring semester evening classes online synchronistically with students on campus.

We will still offer our academically robust, biblically anchored, and cohort-designed programs, but this model allows MAT students to complete the program while working in another location.
